About Stefan Erdtmann
Stefan Erdtmann, a veteran of the real estate investment field, has served in
numerous executive capacities in the past 25 years. In 1998, Dr. Erdtmann
founded Oxygen2 Investments LLC in Berkeley, California, a company that advises
institutions and high net worth individuals on asset management, portfolio
acquisitions, and other real estate matters. As the company’s Managing Director,
Dr. Erdtmann supervises the European branch office in Krefeld, Germany, and
assumes responsibility for the company’s daily marketing operations.
Shortly after founding Oxygen2 Investments LLC, Stefan Erdtmann became the
CEO of AcasA Wohnwerte GmbH, a residential property development company. A
shareholder in the company, Dr. Erdtmann manages real estate development
projects, which currently include the construction of 65 single-family homes. As
the company’s CEO, Dr. Erdtmann assumes many of the same responsibilities as he
does as the CEO of UNITED PROPERTIES Immobilien & Anlagen GmbH, a real
estate company he co-founded in 1995 that focuses on purchasing, repositioning,
and selling residential real estate. Presently, he manages a staff of 22 while
handling day-to-day operations of the company.
Educated in Germany, Stefan Erdtmann received a degree in Business, majoring
in not only Marketing and Sales, but also Finance and Taxes at the University of
Muenster (Westfaelische Wilhelms-Universitaet Muenster), graduating with
distinction in 1986. Three years later, Dr. Erdtmann received his Ph.D. in
Marketing and Sales from the University of Wuppertal (Bergische Universitaet
Wuppertal).
Stefan Erdtmann serves as an active member of the German-American Chamber of
Commerce and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He also dedicates his
time to a local charity, Spielplatzpaten Krefeld, a mentoring program in which
locals volunteer at Krefeld playgrounds.
